2014 Message
The year
2014 is upon us, a good time to make a fresh start and set goals for the months ahead. The
key to achieving your
goals are (1) Identify what you want to accomplish this year. (2) Be specific by clearly
thinking about what,
when, and how of what you want to do in the months ahead. (3) Take simple steps that will
help you reach your
goal. (4) Your goal is more likely to be achieved if you stick with something that you
really want to do.
(5) Celebrate every little success that propels you towards achieving your school in
2014.
NNANPALLE Foundation Goals for 2014
The NNANPALLE Foundation will continue to build on the steps taken in 2013 to advance its mission and vision. The NNANPALLE Foundation aims to coordinate and promote understanding of the impact of modern technology in urban and rural communities through education, dissemination of information and outreach programs. The primary objectives for 2014 calendar year are as follows:
- Raise funds and other resources to sustain project activities.
- Identify and implement collaboration with other public and private entities.
- Plan and build infrastructure and facilities to provide basic career skills to people in our rural communities.
- Implement educational programs that prepare people in our communities for the work place or higher education.
- Identify and invest in cultural, recreational, and educational services in our communities.
- Inform people in our communities on advances in modern technology and know-how.
- Provide general information that is relevant to modern living.
Hot Topic: Mentors nurture good ideas from anyone!
The youth in our communities need kind-hearted people or excellent role models who are able to provide a helping hand and encourage them to dream big and reach their full potential. Excellent role models promote meritocracy and diversity because good ideas can come from anyone, anywhere, in the world. Excellent role models provide a clear impression to every child that they have the same value as anyone else. Excellent role models make talented youngsters to be aware of possibilities and encourage them to pursue openings. Excellent role models believe in their protégé and create an environment for them to succeed by teaching them how to study, take tests successfully and ultimately go to the best universities in the world. These good Samaritans never try to judge any child’s experience based on superficialities, but try to know the child’s background and what informs their world view. The good men and women in our communities help the youths and others to overcome obstacles and find success. Teachers are a great resource in our communities, potential role models, who should inspire every child to take charge of their lives, and to strive for success in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics or the Arts. The good men and women of our communities should also find ways to help every child get a good education and be the best that they can be in this day and age. Excellent role models share their talent with young people so that they can be the engine that’s going to drive positive change in our communities. The Nnanpalle Foundation encourages men and women in our communities to be excellent role models, to mentor a child, and to believe that anyone can provide good ideas to move our communities forward.
